Belinda Caballero

Receptionist/Community

Outreach Specialist

Belinda Caballero joined the UCP team in July 2016 as the morning Receptionist/ Community Outreach Specialist for UCP Downtown. She is beyond grateful to be part of such a wonderful nonprofit organization and hopes to take her role in Community Outreach to another level to truly make a change.  Like the great Baha’ullah once said, “So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth.”

This summer Belinda received an AA in Administration of Justice Studies and is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Arizona State University. Belinda previously served in the United States Marine Corps and desires a career in law enforcement.

Bianca Rodriguez

Receptionist/Community

Outreach Specialist

Bianca Rodriguez joined the UCP team in August, 2016 as the afternoon Receptionist/Community Outreach Specialist for UCP Downtown. In her role Bianca utilizes her skills and experience to provide assistance to the HCBS program  as well as the Therapy Clinic. Before joining UCP, Bianca worked for the Maricopa County Juvenile Probation where she found great reward in serving the public and helping others.

In the near future she plans on returning to school to pursue a degree in Health Care Management. Aside from work, Bianca loves spending time with her five year old son Matthew and getting together with the family for cookouts.

Terry Wideman

Director of HCBS  &

Day Treatment Programs

Terry first joined the UCP team in October, 2011 to fulfill a life-long dream to work with children after working for many years with adult programs. “UCP has given me an incredible opportunity to lead program staff who are dedicated and compassionate to serve children and adults with disabilities. Every day I am inspired by their good work!” As the  Director of Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)  & The Day  Treatment Programs, she is responsible for the day to day operations of programs in support of nearly 400 children and adult with disabilities residing in the  greater Phoenix area.  Terry holds expertise in the areas of program administration, direct care, and employee relations.

Terry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she resides with her husband in Mesa, AZ and enjoys spending every moment of her free time with her grandchildren, Tucker and Morgan.

Tammy Ellis

HCBS Program Coordinator

Tammy Ellis joined the UCP team in October, 2003 as a Direct Care Worker, then quickly shifted to Program Coordinator.  Tammy fulfills her passion of helping families and the members we serve in her role. For the past 27 years, Tammy has been working and volunteering in the disability community somehow, someway! Her extended years of experience in so many various areas help her perform her job in the best way possible.

Doing the right thing is her motto. Tammy says “If you do the right thing, everything else will fall into place.”  Tammy and her husband of 35 years have one adult daughter and three grandchildren. Tammy is originally from Michigan but considers herself an Arizonan since she’s lived here twice as long as she lived in Michigan. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family.

Delia Chavez

HCBS Bi-Lingual

Program Coordinator

Delia Chavez joined the UCP team in July, 2016 as the Bi-lingual Program Coordinator. Her position allows her to serve the community with firsthand experience, as she is the mother of a child with a disability. She strives to reach out to families, members and our providers in order to provide an environment that promotes trust by addressing the needs of everyone involved.

Delia has an AA in Psychology and has continued her education at the University of Texas of El Paso. She is also a certified CPR, First Aid and Article 9 instructor and has been working in the Home Base Community Services for over 7 years. Her favorite past times include reading, binge watching Netflix and spending time with her family. Delia has been married for 32 years, has two adult children and two pets. She is originally from El Paso, Texas and has lived in Arizona for the last 16 years.

Laura Zilnik

Clinic Therapy Manager

Laura Zilnik first joined the UCP team in July 2015 as the Clinic Therapy Manager for both The Laura Dozer Clinic in North Phoenix, and recently the Downtown Clinic. She loves being the first point of contact for families looking to help their children receive high quality therapy services. Before UCP, Laura worked directly with children with disabilities and behavioral challenges as a direct care provider, behavioral tech, and also as a clinical supervisor. “The best part is seeing children make progress! And  of course supporting the talented therapists who make a difference in the lives of children every day”, says Laura

Laura holds a Bachelors of Arts is Psychology, and she is working on her Master of Science in Family and Human Development. Laura dedicates her time outside of work to her wonderful family, including her Fiancé, son, and 2 dogs.

 

 

Brittany McFadden

Marnie Madden

Feeding Therapist

Marnie Madden joined the UCP team in February 2016, as our well respected feeding therapist. Marnie has many years of experience in evaluating and treating children with feeding disorders related to complex medical issues, sensory processing disorder and/or behavioral difficulties. She has worked as a feeding therapist in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, families’ homes and in out-patient clinics, similar to UCP Downtown.
